---Introduction---
Ludovica Giustiziero, aka Shanaru, is a comic book artist and illustrator based in Italy.
Her artistic style is defined by a unique synthesis of American comics and Japanese manga, blended into a clean, powerful style with a strong visual impact.
Her capabilities include a versatile inking and a vivid, precise coloring—granting strength and clarity to her works.

---Education---
She studied at the comic art school Grafite – Scuola di Fumetto in Lecce, Italy, and continued her artistic development through specialized training attending:
• two workshops hosted by The Fine Art Collective – Italy: Professional Acrylic System (Liquitex) and Coloring Techniques (Winsor & Newton);
• advanced courses in Cover Art (with Pasquale Qualano) at Grafite – Scuola di Fumetto;
• Technologies, Setting and Storytelling (with Davide Fabbri) at Grafite – Scuola di Fumetto;
• the Digital Manga course at Lucca Manga School;
• the Drawing with the iPad course at Scuola Romana di Fumetto;
• Coloring with Kurt by Kurt Michael Russell.

---Work Experience---
In 2026 her work was published in Ammantinm c t maning zine for the Bicomix 2026, supporting Emergency.
In the same year, she started collaborating with “Backside of the Twitch” creator community as a Graphic designer.
Since 2023 to 2025, she covered major responsibility roles in different minor projects by Black List Crew, filling different positions, including, but not limited to, Art Director, Editor and Storyboarder, while aiding in the planning of the promotion campaign and the release schedule of those productions.
Since 2024, she has been collaborating with Smoke Giustizieri comic store in the role of Graphic designer.
In the same year, she participated as Art Director in the production of the comic book The Unseen by Black List Crew.
In 2023, her work was published in the anthology A Night with the Grimms by Tora Edizioni and in At Arms by Black List Crew
In 2020, she participated in the Ink Contest 2020 by Black List Crew.

To date, Shanaru is active in the indie comic scene by taking part into self-publishing productions and fan made projects.
